Personalisation

Personalised from the first student login.

New students begin with a Starting Assessment. From then on, completed revision, practice and mock sessions keep improving the focus of the plan.

  1. 01

    Create your family plan

Add your child’s details, choose a realistic study goal and mock day, then protect the parent area with a PIN.

  2. 02

    Find the starting point

Your child completes a four-subject Starting Assessment. There is no pass or fail, and it is not presented as an official score.

  3. 03

    Let the plan respond

Daily work stays balanced while giving more attention to weaker subjects and skills as reliable evidence builds.

This is what your child opens each day: one plan, marked complete when it is done.
Core features

Four ways your child prepares.

Every week combines the same four kinds of session. Your child sees one clear task at a time, and each one leaves evidence you can read in the parent area.

Daily Revision

The core of the week. You choose the days and the length of each session, and Pathway Eleven builds a balanced revision set for that day, giving more attention to the skills your child finds hardest. In the parent area you can see every day that was completed.

You set the week in the parent area; your child opens one day at a time.

Guided Learning

Teaching before testing. Guided practice sessions run without a countdown and give feedback after every answer, so your child can slow down and understand a skill rather than race it. The app recommends guided practice for the skills where recent answers show it would help most.

Guided practice explains the answer before the next question.

Timed Drills

Short, sharp practice against a countdown, in one subject at a time. A drill is over in a few minutes, so it fits a school night, and it builds the pace a real paper demands. Your parent report shows the average time per answer alongside accuracy.

A Pathway Eleven verbal reasoning timed drill, showing a word classification question with five answer choices and the countdown running in the corner.
A drill runs against the clock, in one subject at a time.

Mock Papers

One full rehearsal a week, on the day you choose. Your child sits both papers under real timings, with the sections locked in order. It is marked as soon as it ends, and the report in your parent area breaks the result down by subject and by skill.

Mock papers unlock from Year 4, with full membership.

Daily study goals

Make planned study time count.

Finishing the required revision opens targeted next steps. If useful study time remains, the app clearly recommends Guided Practice, a Timed Drill or ten more questions to help complete the goal set by the parent.

Clear about the content

Original practice, careful claims.

Pathway Eleven uses original questions generated from reviewed templates. Every question is reviewed and approved by a qualified teacher before your child sees it. The Starting Assessment identifies relative strengths and weaker skills inside the app. It does not claim an official percentile, age-standardised score or predicted entrance-test result.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about personalisation, progress and getting started.

What is the Starting Assessment?+

A short, calm diagnostic across English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning. It produces a Starting Profile of what your child actually did, skill by skill. There is no pass or fail, and it is never a level or a prediction.

How does the plan become personalised?+

The app uses completed assessment, revision, Guided Practice, Timed Drill and mock answers to identify relative strengths and weaker skills. Daily revision remains balanced while recommendations and targeted practice give extra attention where it is most useful.

Can I review individual sessions?+

Yes. Completed sessions remain in the PIN-protected parent area with question outcomes, timing, subject and skill detail. Sessions with no completed questions are not added to progress or reports.

Is Pathway Eleven free?+

The account and the Starting Assessment are free. The full plan is a paid membership; you see the price inside the app before anything is taken.

Who takes the payment?+

Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details never reach Pathway Eleven and are never stored on our servers. One price covers one child, with no setup fee.

Who checks the questions?+

Questions are generated from reviewed templates and then reviewed and approved by a qualified teacher before they are released to families. Anything a child reports as unclear is quarantined and excluded from progress while it is looked at.

Do I need a confirmed exam date?+

No. Setup pencils in the date your child’s year group normally sits, clearly marked as provisional, and you can change it or clear it whenever your registration confirms the sitting. The exam date and target grammar school are optional.

Does it assume eligibility or catchment?+

No. Selecting a grammar school is optional and never implies registration, catchment, Pupil Premium status or admissions eligibility.

What happens when my child needs help with a question?+

The student chooses whether they need more teaching or think something is wrong. The app adds misunderstood skills to guided repair practice, while suspected content problems are quarantined and excluded from progress automatically.
